The USA BMX Foundation is committed to helping kids learn the joy of BMX riding and racing. However, our summer camp program has challenges that may limit participation for some children. If a camper does not know how to ride a bicycle, the USA BMX Foundation will attempt to train the camper for two days. If after two days of training, there is little progress and the camper is still not able to ride the bike, then the camper will be asked to discontinue participation in the summer camp. The primary reasons are: 1 - The USA BMX Foundation does not have the staff to provide long term one-on-one training on how to ride a bike, 2 - The USA BMX Foundation Summer Camp has a riding component called Adventuring. These Adventuring experiences have the campers, alongside the counselors, leave the campus for destination trips that would be too far for someone who has not learned to ride a bike.
I acknowledge that closed-toe shoes/tennis shoes/flat shoes are mandatory. (No Crocs, sandals, slides, or similar)
A signed waiver by event participant or parent/guardian will be required before you can download your QR code. A link to obtain waivers for all registrants will be shown on the confirmation page.
